S.H.I.E.L.D. stands for “Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division”. Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D is about an amazing group of people that teach us that we are all one and that there’s always a solution to be found when challenged with a problem. I can relate to Quake-Daisy Johnson because she always seeks out answers and the truth. In the first season of S.H.I.E.L.D Skye didn’t trust the system so she decided to use her talent in hacking and she looked for answers. Phil Coulson is the leader of the team. He shows you that should put faith in your team and know that you can count on them. I say this because in the episode 7 of the first season, “The Hub”, Coulson was abandoned by his leaders who lied to him, saying that there was an extraction team coming, when in reality there was none. It was his team that had his back in the end.
Melinda May is an agent who teaches us to not give up and always succeed. Even when betrayed by agent Grant Ward, she showed up made him pay for what he’d done. Leo Fitz & Jemma Simmons show us that if you truly love a person nothing can stop you from being with them. I say this because in every season they had obstacles if it wasn’t them getting stuck together in the bottom of the ocean, it would be them getting kidnapped or getting stuck in another world, but both of them worked from the other end to find a solution on how to survive, but they always look to each other for hope and overcome the obstacles they face.
In the first season Coulson gathers his team where Melinda May, Skye, Grant Ward, Jemma Simmons, Leo Fitz, and himself where they are sent to their first case to find a serum called Centipede produced by this organization called Hydra the enemy of S.H.I.E.L.D. But Coulson is also looking for answers on what happened to him or how we woke up after THE AVENGERS. In season 1 they operate out of the BUS, the bus is a big airplane that has a cargo hold, a lab, an office, rooms, a place for prisoners, a tech center, a mini bar and much more. This series has been watched by 12.12 million people. In my opinion I give it a 5 out of 5 because it has all I need to have a fun and adventurous time.
I like it because every episode had a meaning and a lesson. This season made me wanted to keep seeing the rest and i’m looking forward to season 6. Skye taught me that you should always believe in yourself and do what you think is right. Skye has a strong personality and that makes me want to see the continuation of S.H.I.E.L.D. Props to whoever decided to create Skye because she mysterious, adventurous, curious and more, and I feel like a lot of people can relate to her just like me not because I’m a woman but because she has skills and wants to go beyond what she has in front of her. Also she is looking for her parents in S.H.I.E.L.D.
In my opinion this is an amazing series with a story that teaches us that if you work as a team you can succeed. What really caught my attention was that they got separated a thousand times, but they all work hard to see each other again and never gave up on each other.
