One year ago, The Farooqi Bros teamed up with the Black Panther Challenge to take 400 kids from an underserved area in Bronx, NY to see Black Panther. Raising $5000 thanks to all of your support and help, the event was a success. Today, we are launching our next project.
Working with NewYork–Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital, ComicBook Debate is officially launching the fundraiser for our Superhero Toy Event. With your help, we will be able to purchase enough toys, books and comics for all the children currently staying at the hospital. With a goal set for $2000, we are planning to purchase:
30 BATMAN ACTION FIGURES
30 SPIDER-MAN ACTION FIGURES
20 SUPERMAN ACTION FIGURES
20 BLACK PANTHER ACTION FIGURES
15 CAPTAIN AMERICA ACTION FIGURES
15 IRON MAN ACTION FIGURES
15 WONDER WOMAN ACTION FIGURES
15 CAPTAIN MARVEL ACTION FIGURES
10 THOR ACTION FIGURES
40 DC & MARVEL COLORING BOOKS
MULTIPLE AGE APPROPIRATE COMICS
MULTIPLE DC & MARVEL MOVIES
In addition to making sure each and every kid has a superhero toy of their own, we are also bringing our ComicBook Debate Workshop to the kids as well. Curating a special workshop tailored for the children, The Farooqi Bros will personally host and encourage the kids to create their own superheroes while learning fun facts about their favorite ones.
The date of the event is SET for April 23rd and we need YOUR help to donate what you can and share this with your friends so we can reach our goal. Each and every dollar donated will be used to purchase toys and comics for the hospital’s children. Any excess left over will be donated to the hospital as well.
Below you will find the GoFundMe link for the event! Thank you all for the support?
