Releasing the Snyder Cut of Justice League was an achievement by fans around the world. It is only fitting then, that the first event celebrating that achievement would also be held by the fans and for the fans. Justice Con 2020 is a two-day virtual convention organized by The Nerd Queens and ComicBook Debate’s own Megan Danielle. The convention will be held on Saturday, July 25 and Sunday, July 26. Here, you will find all the information you need to know about the upcoming weekend event.
Justice Con will celebrate the 2021 release of Zack Snyder’s Justice League on HBO Max by hosting panels with many cast and crew members who worked on the film. Director Zack Snyder himself will take part in the convention alongside his wife and esteemed producer, Deborah Snyder. Actors Ray Fisher and Ray Porter will be joining the director in discussing the upcoming release. Crew members like cinematographer, Fabian Wagner, storyboard artist Jay Oliva, and photographer Clay Enos will all be making appearances throughout the weekend as well. You can catch up before the event and check out our interviews Wagner, Enos, and Oliva on the Farooqi Bros Podcast.
Outside of cast and crew from Justice League, Justice Con will also play host to journalists, artists, and more. Myself, Sean O’Connell, Jonita Davis, and Chris Wong-Swenson represent some of the journalists who covered the Snyder Cut campaign. Personally, I will be taking part in a panel about the diversity in Zack Snyder’s films and fandom. Additionally, Justice Con will feature the artists from Zack Snyder’s Fan Poster Event, including winner Victor Ku.
Like any event associated with Zack Snyder, the importance of giving back to the American Foundation For Suicide Prevention is a key element. Justice Con will have panels dedicated to speaking with AFSP about the money raised thus far. The event will also feature InkToThePeople’s Todd Richheimer. InkToThePeople is the platform that will deliver all of the merchandise for Justice Con and many other Snyder Cut campaigns over the last two years. You can purchase from any current t-shirt campaigns and all Justice Con gear here. As always, all proceeds go to AFSP.

Like any fan convention, cosplay is always a major component. Justice Con is holding a Cosplay Contents, with the deadline to submit set for July 17th. Information can be found in the graphic above. Two winners will be selected and will receive a $100 gift card and exclusive gear from InkToThePeople.
Finally, you can find the complete schedule for Justice Con below. The entire convention will be completely free of charge and held exclusively on the Justice Con YouTube page. We encourage you all to check them out here and subscribe!

Spinning-off from the primary festivities of Justice Con are two events. The first is the ZSJL Manhunter Art Event. The prompt for the event is to re-create Zack Snyder’s storyboard of Harry Lennix as Martian Manhunter. The deadline to submit to your art is July 24th and the winners will be selected at Justice Con’s Artist Panel. The second is Crisis on Infinite Streams. Featuring multiple podcasters and YouTubers, the streams will provide non-stop coverage of Justice Con, including after convention streams by friends of ComicBook Debate, Film Junkee, Real In Motion, and Ping Pong Flix.
The Farooqi Brothers and ComicBook Debate want to thank Cole and Nana of the Nerd Queens and our very own Meg for putting in the tireless hours of creating an event by the fans and for the fans. Don’t miss it!
